1.Soy can also increase possible health risks such as Thyroid problem.

2.In one study, researchers found that women with higher soy intake showed an elevated thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) which signified hypothyroidism.

3. However other studies showed varied results regarding the effect of soy intake on thyroid function.

4. Hence, if you are to eat soy, choose the less processed ones like edamame

Evidence is not strong to avoid soy except when you take your thyroid pill.

It can decrease absorption of thyroid hormone. Otherwise enjoy your soy anyway you like.
