How much does the procedure cost?
And do you take insurance yet?
Thyroid Institute of Utah says the following:
At the Thyroid Institute of Utah, the RFA procedure is performed in the office with local anesthesia only and with no increase in the risk of the procedure. The cost of Thyroid RFA at the Thyroid Institute without insurance coverage is $3,000. However, we will work with your insurance company to determine coverage, benefits, and out-of-pocket cost.

      Maria,
They charged $8500 until cases dried up due to the virus.
This $3000 is a lost leader due to the virus. They are hurting for cases.
We still charge a very low $6000 and are not hurting for new cases.
      Dr.g.
