I am interested in the ethanol ablation procedure. I am 59 years old with benign thyroid nodules. I have been advised by my endocrinologist to remove my thyroid. He did not tell me about ethanol ablation. I am having trouble with swallowing and breathing. I live in Mississippi and would like to have the procure but see nowhere where it it done except for your clinic. I had a biopsy several years again and cancer was ruled out. I believe my nodules were caused from radiation on my neck after a keloid was removed from my neck 40 years ago. I have Cigna Insurance through my work. I am willing to come to Santa Monica but if possible would like to find something closer to me. I really dont want to lose my thyroid. I have had major surgery when I had my knees replaced and want to avoid any more surgery if possible. My next appt with my Endocrinologist is on August 22. I would appreciate any info you can give me.

Hi I’m Amanda, I;m 35 yrs old & I live in Irvine, I am about to have a biopsy done on the left side of my thyroid on a 4.2 cm nodule found in my neck. I am wondering what kinds of insurance you take as well as what are my options to have this thing drained since I do not want my thyroid taken out. If my insurance don’t cover your practices, what are the costs as well for you to go over my results and tell me the best options? Thanks

      Hi Amanda,
Don’t waste time with a biopsy we have to repeat with cancer makers.
Call 310-393-8860 and discuss fees with Alicia.
      Keep your thyroid gland.
