Female with long history of enlarging benign cyst treated only with multiple drainage failures comes for an opinion about ethanol ablation ( PEI ) vs surgery. After a detailed biopsy with molecular markers and classifiers proved benign she elected to have ethanol ablation. The ultrasound image depicts a 120 ml cyst. The PEI was done in my office. The fluid was removed and under US guidance ethanol was injected in and then washed in and out and a small amount was left in. She had no complications and left the office in 45 minutes.
